Mansfield, Bronstein & Stone, LLP Welcomes Kathleen Achille as Partner

Mansfield, Bronstein & Stone, LLP announced that Kathleen Achille has joined the firm as a Partner. Achille brings more than 25 years of legal experience to the firm’s litigation practice, where she will focus on complex civil litigation and trial advocacy.

Achille joins the firm following a successful tenure as the Managing Attorney for the Florida Litigation Group at a Plantation-based firm. In that role, she was responsible for managing a high-volume portfolio of contested files, presiding over mediations, and representing clients in non-jury trials. Her career is rooted in extensive courtroom experience, having served as a prosecutor for the State Attorney’s Office for the 17th Judicial Circuit. During her time as a prosecutor, she tried approximately 50 jury trials, including 30 felony cases. As a defense attorney, she has tried an additional 10 felony jury trials.

Achille’s professional history also includes serving as a Special Magistrate for the City of North Miami, where she presided over evidentiary hearings and issued legal determinations. In 2021, she was recognized as one of the “DSNews Top 25 Women of Law.” She has also been honored with awards from the Haitian Lawyers Association, Cuban American Bar Association, and Broward County Hispanic Bar Association.

Achille earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida College of Law and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida. She is a member of The Florida Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Her community involvement includes serving as Vice-President of the Haitian Lawyers Association and a member of the Board of Directors for Legal Aid Service of Broward County.
